A 6-year-old girl was struck by a van and killed on Monday afternoon in Keeler Township, about sixty miles Southwest of Grand Rapids. The girl allegedly jumped from behind a bush and into the path of the oncoming van, driven by a 72-year-old Royal Oak man. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is still pending.
